“Evol” director and producer David Naugutt spoke with Next BIG Minds about his upcoming film, “Rise Stars,” about a young, socially challenged young woman who comes to New York City to escape her abusive boyfriend and find love.
Naugutts’ film opens in theaters on April 29.

Naugts’ directorial debut “Rises” centers around a woman who lives in New York with her ex-boyfriend and the couple’s two children.
The film follows her struggle to come to terms with her new found identity and find true love.
In the film, Naugts plays the role of an emotionally damaged young woman, and plays an emotionally vulnerable woman.
The film follows a young woman’s struggle with her identity and the pressures that come with it.
“Evo,” directed by and starring Michelle Williams, is a feature length film about a woman living in New England with her husband and two children who moves to Manhattan.
It was released on May 14.
