Steezer Dance Studios and Pa Dancers will open their doors to Irish consumers next week, with the studio and the Pa Danceseries set to open on a site in St Stephen’s Green.
Steezer will be offering live performances in the St Stephen Square, and the two businesses will also be available to order online, the company announced.
The new businesses will be located on a new site at St Stephen Place, which has been redeveloped to make way for the new St Stephen Park, and will open at 12.30pm on Friday.
St Stephen Square has been a key site for St Stephen dance studios since it opened in the mid-1990s.
In 2011, it was the site of the St Patrick’s Day Parade, and in 2014, it hosted the Republic Day Parade.
The site has been home to the St. Stephen Dance Studio since the 1980s.
The two companies will also operate from a second site at the former St Stephen Studios site, which was demolished in the early days of the city’s regeneration project.
The owners of the site were approached by St Stephen for help in creating a space that would suit the needs of St Stephen Dance Studios, the firm said.
St Stephens was looking for a site that would fit their needs, so St Stephens contacted Pa Dancer, and Pa Di, and they came to the conclusion that St Stephen was the ideal site, the firms said.
The development of the new site is part of the regeneration of St Stephens Square, which is due to open this summer.
The firm will also have a retail outlet on the site, with plans to open at the end of September.
It’s the first time a Dublin-based company has opened in Dublin since the end and redevelopment of the iconic St Stephen square in the 1960s.
A large part of St Stephanie’s heritage was damaged by the demolition of the original St Stephen Street in the 1980-90s, which led to the site becoming a ghost town.
St Stephanie’s owner, the Irish National Bank, had plans to convert the site into a hotel and a restaurant, but the scheme fell through.
St Dijonsdales, which owns the St Stephens site, said the project would create a new residential and commercial precinct in the area.
The company said it would invest €250,000 in the project.
It will also offer a full range of live performances, including dance studios and solo performances.
The studio will be able to perform for a small number of customers, and has a 24-hour phone number.
It will also make available free classes online, with St Stephens offering lessons in dance, jazz, funk and rock music.
It is hoped that the new businesses, which will have a large number of dancers in their group, will attract a larger audience than St Stephens.
It has been seven years since Pa Di Dance Studios opened in Cork.
It is the first Irish company to open an Irish location in Ireland.
It was founded by Domenic D’Aloisio, who had previously opened Pa Dance studios in Dublin.
In 2005, Pa Danced closed and D’Aoisio moved the studio to the nearby site of St Andrew’s Park.
Pa Di was founded in 1999 and was based at the St Andrews Square site.
