NEW YORK — AUSTIN, Texas — The Dance Lab, a dance studio that was founded in Honolulu, will open its first dance studio in New Jersey next month, the company said Wednesday.
The facility, called the Dance Lab at the New York University, will feature a dance floor with the same sound system and visual aesthetic as the one in Honolulu that opened last month.
The dance studio will be open 7 a.m.-10 p.m. on Sundays.
DanceLab co-founder Michael Wong said in a statement that the dance studio is “a unique venue that will be the first in the world to provide a venue for dance artists to collaborate on innovative dance moves, including ballet, jazz and hip hop.”
Wong said the DanceLab will also be home to dance-centric events.
