With the end of the summer coming, CBC is back to celebrating the great musical moments of the past and present.
CBC Live: The Best of CBC Music will bring back the classics with a new live-streaming experience, new music from artists that have been around for years, and new artists.
“Music is always a source of inspiration for us and the CBC, and the Best of Music will provide that inspiration,” said Jian-Man Lee, President and CEO of CBC.
“The CBC is thrilled to return to its roots with this new live experience.”
CBC Live is also the only new live show that will offer free access to CBC Music’s online streaming service for two weeks following the concert.
It is scheduled to run from October 11 to October 14.CBC Live: Best of the CBC Music series CBC Live, which launched in 2017, was originally a partnership between CBC Music and SiriusXM.
CBC Music, which was purchased by SiriusXM in January 2018, is CBC’s international music service and is the broadcaster’s most trusted destination for music, arts, and culture.
CBC Sports, which is CBCSports.ca’s global sports brand, will be the primary online destination for CBC Sports content.
The series will air every Saturday starting at 9 p.m.
ET on CBCSports and CBCSportsnet.ca and every Sunday at 9:30 p. and 10 p.
ET with CBC Sports Radio Canada.
CBC News and CBC Radio Canada are also the official news channels for the series.
CBC also hosts a daily radio show, The National, and offers a daily digital radio show.
CBC’s CBC Music program will feature the most-anticipated musical acts in the world, including the best new talent.

CBC Entertainment’s annual Winter Sports Awards were a ratings success for the first time in CBC’s history and the series has been an integral part of CBC Sports programming.
CBC has also been the exclusive broadcaster for the last 10 years of CBCSports Hockey, and a regular presence on CBC Sports Live.CBC is excited to bring back this special event.
