A dance studio in the heart of Chicago’s Loop neighborhood has been transformed into a home for the dreamer who wants to do what he can to make a living.
The dreamer, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the studio last year for $100,000 in a “cash for deeds” deal.
The artist says he was shocked when the studio was sold.
The owner, an African-American male, says he wants to help the studio’s future employees who have not been paid in years.
The studio’s owner says he bought the studio for $200,000 to help his family, but the money he is owed is too great.
He says he has no plans to sell the studio or move his family.
