An Australian company is set to take over the iconic Dana White dance studio at Melbourne’s Carlton Hotel, a move which could see the former Australian Olympic champion and ABC presenter move to the exclusive home of the world’s greatest dancers.

It will be a “completely private property, no public entry” and there will be no public tours or tours in the area, Artemas spokesperson Anna Soubry said.
“There’s nothing in the property that we can put on a marquee or anything like that,” she said.
Artemus is an Australian company which is set up by the company Artemos Holdings which is based in Melbourne.
The company has set a date of November 1 for the start of construction, and it will use the existing pool and tennis court, but the new hotel will be bigger and it is believed it will also have a swimming pool and a tennis court.
“The Carlton will be one of the most significant new buildings that we’ve built in the history of Melbourne,” Ms Soubrys said.
Ms Soubries said the firm was contracted by Artemans parent company Artema Group to undertake the renovations.
“It’s an ambitious undertaking that is expected for the first half of next year,” she told ABC News.
“We are confident that the new building will be built to last for many decades to come.”
The ABC understands Artemis will also lease the Carlton Hotel and its surrounding areas, which includes the tennis courts.
Artemis is expected use the space as a rehearsal space, with the company also looking at other facilities for the future.
“I think we will be able to do a few other things there, which will be exciting and will be very significant to the development of the property,” Ms O’Brien said.
She said the project was being planned in the same timeframe as Mr Trump’s departure, and was expected to start in the second half of 2017.
“This is really about taking this great hotel that he’s so fond of and making it an asset to the city and to Melbourne, which is a very important part of the city,” she added.
“And it will be an asset for the city as well.”ABC/wires
