Florentine dance studio Dana’s Dance studio has announced that it is now accepting applications for the first Florentina dance team in the Italian Serie A.
The club, which is based in Turin, announced the news on its official Twitter account on Wednesday.
Dana’s first squad will be formed in the summer, with the team set to start its official league season in August.
The announcement comes just days after the club confirmed that it had signed three players, including goalkeeper Giancarlo Gabbiadini.
The team has yet to announce its name, but is expected to be a “major” player in Serie A, according to the official account of the club.
Dance studio Dana, which was founded by former Chelsea and Italy international Giancarli Gabbianini, has been active in Serie B since 2011.
