A Boulder, Colo., dance studio producer and his wife have shared their personal stories of living in a world of hustling and a life of crime.
In a series of tweets posted Sunday, Robert and Kathy Bridgette described their time as a part of the Dirty Dozen, a rap crew that played a key role in the 1990s drug epidemic.
In one tweet, Robert wrote: “The Dirty Doz, aka Big Bob, and the crew I played with.
A bunch of hustlers that I used to work with and I played along with and that is how I met my wife Kathy.”
The Dirty Doze, as they were known to their fans, had their own set of challenges, including working as a team, according to the tweets.
The duo, whose real names are Robert Bridgettes and Kathy Laughlin, described how they worked together at a local nightclub called The Bitter End and the Boulder Dance Studio, both in the Boulder area.
They said the scene was a safe space for people of all ages to come together to make music.
Robert wrote that he and his co-workers had a lot of fun.
He said he enjoyed the friendships that were made along the way and the camaraderie.
Kathy Laughen wrote that they worked as a “gang of hustles” that lived together and went to the local dance club.
She said she never saw a problem with them.
“I never saw any trouble at all,” she wrote.
“And I never heard any complaints about them at all.
“The crew was always a tight-knit family, and they were just a great group of friends. “
And you know, we would have a blast with each other and it was just a blast.” “

And you know, we would have a blast with each other and it was just a blast.”
Kathy Laughlen also shared some personal stories.
She described a time when she and her boyfriend were arrested and charged with drug possession.
They were later acquitted, she wrote, but the arrests took a heavy toll on their marriage.
Robert said his wife was “one of the most loving and generous people I have ever known.”
“She would be there for us when we needed her most,” he wrote.
He also wrote about the days he and Kathy worked as “a band of hustls.”
They were “a family of husts” that shared their music with the world, and their “dance was always contagious,” Robert wrote.
The DirtyDoze was responsible for making a number of hit songs, including the hit “All You Need Is Love.”
The group also released a documentary called “You Know What I Mean” that chronicles their career.
“We were a gang of hustes,” Kathy Loughlin said.
In addition to their stories, Robert also shared his personal history, including a time he was beaten up by his own family members.
He wrote that after the beating, he lost his ability to speak and would cry for days.
Robert added that Kathy told him she could never forget the night that her son was murdered.
He called it a “moment in time” that changed her life.
“In a world that had such a horrible past, it changed my life,” Robert said.
The tweets come amid a wave of backlash to the “DirtyDozen” Instagram account, which includes photos of drug dealers and violent criminals.
A user who identifies herself as @Dirty_Dozen has more than 2,700 followers.
In an Instagram post posted Sunday morning, the user said the Instagram account “wasnt created by the guys.”
“It wasnt created to show off.
It wasnt set up to make a profit,” the user wrote.
She added that the account was created for a reason.
“To be a source of information about people that I care about and support.
A source of people that you can trust,” the Instagram user wrote in the post.
The user also called for the “dear D.A. to shut down the account immediately and to arrest the person behind it.”
“I am a person that has been harassed, beaten, and killed by drug dealers,” the woman wrote.
In another post, the person wrote: You know what I mean?
If you know me, you know I am a mother, wife, and a father.
I have a life that has nothing to do with drugs or gangs.
I am just a person.
The people behind the account are people that want to make money.
They are not people that care about people.
And the people behind this account are criminals.
“There are too many people that are involved in the gang that I am ashamed to be a part,” the person added.
The account also has photos of the group that was involved in a killing in 2014. In that
