Dancing studio pictures taken by photographer Chris Fonseca are getting a little less common these days.
His latest installment, a series of portraits of the dancers of the legendary “Ghetto Dance Studio,” shows two dancers of various ages, including a girl who looks to be just as young as the photographer himself.
The photographer, Chris Fons, who has been documenting the lives of some of the most influential dance artists of the 20th century, was born in New York in 1963 and moved to Chicago when he was a child.
He now lives in Los Angeles.
The project features artists such as George Clinton, Margo Price, and Toni Braxton.
The pictures are all available to view online for free on Fonsca’s website.
